• Found at a flea market in Paris, France
• Stoneware mustard crock hand-painted with the Maille "Moutarde de Dijon au vin blanc" label, complete with original cork lid
• It is vintage so it does show signs of use and wear consistent with age

What we love about it:
An iconic piece of French kitchen history. Maille has been making mustard in Dijon since the 1700s, and this crock is a wonderful souvenir of that legacy. It's lovely simply displayed as-is on open shelving, or repurposed as a vase for a small bouquet, cork set aside. The hand-painted lettering has real charm that mass-produced versions just don't have.
