• Found at a flea market in Avignon, France
• Oil painting on board depicting a bouquet of white, yellow, and rust-toned chrysanthemums against an olive green ground, initialed in the lower corner
• It is vintage so it does show signs of use and wear consistent with age

What we love about it:
I love the loose, confident brushwork here. Each bloom is painted from just a few strokes, but the overall effect reads unmistakably as chrysanthemums in full autumn color. It's a lovely small-scale piece to lean on a shelf or mantel rather than hang, and the warm palette makes it especially fitting for a fall tablescape or a cozy reading nook.
