Vintage French Ironstone Divided Soap Dish with Greek Key Border (does not include soap)

• Found at a flea market in Paris, France
• Oval ironstone soap dish with a ribbed drainage well and hand-painted Greek key border, marked "Porcelaine Opaque de Gien" on the underside
• It is vintage so it does show signs of use and wear consistent with age

What we love about it:
The Greek key motif gives this a bit of old-world elegance that a plain soap dish just doesn't have. Perfect for a guest bath or as a little vanity tray for rings and hair pins. The ribbed well keeps a bar of soap propped up and draining nicely, so it's every bit as functional as it is pretty.
